Thibeau Spits is one of the standout talents of Belgium’s next generation of show jumping riders. Still under 25 years old, he is already competing and delivering strong performances at CSI5* level, underlining his rapid rise among the sport’s elite. A double gold medallist at the Young Riders European Championships in Oliva in 2022, he has continued to progress steadily, establishing himself as a consistent and competitive presence on the international circuit.
This upward trajectory was further confirmed in 2025, when Thibeau Spits played a key role in Belgium’s team gold medal at the European Championships in La Coruña. Later that year, he delivered another career-defining performance by finishing third in the Grand Prix at the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping in Geneva, confirming his ability to excel on the sport’s biggest stages.
He confirms his ability to shine on the biggest stages the very next year: he finishes 2nd at the Dutch Masters as part of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, before delivering the performance of his career at the World Championships in Aachen, claiming individual silver while also contributing to Belgium's team silver medal alongside Nicola Philippaerts, Abdel Said and Pieter Devos. He also finishes 2nd in the Grand Prix of Saint-Tropez.
