Falsterbo Horse Show

A new addition to the Rolex Series, the Falsterbo Horse Show has been a cornerstone of Scandinavian equestrian sport for over a century. Founded in 1920 by the Royal Swedish Cavalry, it has evolved into one of Europe’s premier equestrian venues, renowned for its blend of heritage, elite sport, and modern innovation.

Located in southern Sweden, just 20 minutes from Copenhagen, Falsterbo offers a stunning coastal setting that enhances its unique character. Attracting over 60,000 visitors annually, it delivers more than just competition—offering world-class show jumping and dressage, a lively social atmosphere, and a dynamic exhibitor village with over 200 brands.

To maintain its high standards, Falsterbo has recently undergone significant upgrades, further enhancing the infrastructure, facilities, and competition arenas to provide the best possible conditions for both horse and rider. The 15-meter-deep sandy footing, a remnant of an ancient seabed, ensures optimal elasticity for peak equestrian performance.

Guided by its ethos of “Tradition and Renewal”, the Falsterbo Horse Show Foundation has continuously elevated the event, making it a perfect fit for the Rolex Series—where history and progress go hand in hand.

This is my first CSI5* Grand Prix win. I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I’ve had some great horses and some great successes, but I was always just missing that little something. At home, it even became a bit of a running joke: I was always finishing second.

So to finally get it over the line and win a Rolex Grand Prix, especially at such a special show as Falsterbo, is really very special to me. And hopefully, I can do it again.

I am absolutely thrilled to see the expansion of the Rolex Series into Sweden. This is the first time a Rolex Series event will be held in my home country, and it couldn’t have found a better stage than the Falsterbo Horse Show. This competition, deeply rooted in tradition, delivers an exceptional sporting spectacle every year, with an incredibly passionate audience. I am truly looking forward to competing in this arena under the Rolex banner. The arrival of Rolex at the Falsterbo Horse Show further elevates the event’s significance on the international stage and marks a decisive milestone in its development.
