This win is also my team’s win. We can’t do everything as riders, and in my case, I couldn’t do it without them. They did all the preparation with Gangster leading up to Brussels while I was in Aachen for the World Championship. It’s a huge credit to them for having the horses in such good shape and taking care of them 24/7. I think it’s very well deserved that the grooms can go onto the podium and enjoy the applause from the crowd.
