Simon Crippen began his career in pony and junior competitions before quickly progressing to the senior ranks. Today, he co-manages a competition and training facility alongside his partner Abbie Squires, focusing on developing young horses up to Grand Prix level. Regularly selected for the British team, he has competed in several 4* and 5* Nations Cups over the past four years. In March 2025, he delivered a double clear with “Handsome,” finishing 5th in a CSI4* Nations Cup event. He has also performed well in the 5* King George V Grand Prix at Hickstead, placing in the top 10.
Balancing coaching, horse development, and competition at the highest level, Simon is a key figure in British showjumping, dedicated to nurturing future generations while maintaining strong results in the ring.
