Scottish show jumper Scott Brash made history in 2015 by becoming the first – and, to date, the only – rider to win the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping. He achieved this remarkable feat with his exceptional horse Hello Sanctos. After winning the Rolex Grand Prix at the CHI Geneva in late 2014, he continued his winning streak in 2015 with victories in the Rolex Grand Prix at the CHIO Aachen and the CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex, at the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament. This achievement added to an already impressive list of honours, including an Olympic team gold medal with Great Britain at the London 2012 Olympic Games and a team gold medal at the European Championships the following year. He has been a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) since 2013 and, together with Hello Sanctos, was inducted into the British Horse Society’s Hall of Fame in 2015.
More recently, Scott Brash secured another team gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Following a series of strong Grand Prix performances, he finished as double runner-up at the European Championships, both individually and with the team. A month later, he claimed another prestigious victory at Spruce Meadows as part of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping. To conclude the series, he won the IJRC Top 10 Final at the CHI Geneva.
