Pilar Lucrecia Cordón is the first Spanish woman to represent her country in equestrian sport at the Olympic Games (Rio 2016: 11th with the team, 46th individually). Active since her teenage years — she began competing at 16 in Italy — she has taken part in the World Equestrian Games (2010, 2014) and the European Championships (2011, 2013, 2015).
She has made her mark in Nations Cups, notably at the CSIO Gijón in 2014, where she helped Spain to a 4th place finish with Nuage Bleu. Highly ranked in Spain, she was 2nd in the national jumping standings at the end of 2011.
Based in Belgium, Pilar continues to perform strongly: in August 2024, she won the CSI2* Speed Challenge in Valkenswaard with Noblesse du Palis.
