Oliver Fletcher is a young British rider from a high-level equestrian family, with both parents having competed internationally. He began competing very early, starting with ponies at age six, then progressing through Junior and Young Rider levels where he won numerous medals and titles. In 2024, riding Hello William, he became the European Young Riders Champion, notably the only rider to go clear in all rounds.
Transitioning to senior level in 2024/2025, he made a strong impression by finishing 5th in the 5* Grand Prix of London with Hello William, earning him a spot on the British team for the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. Alongside his competitive success, Oliver has received several awards, including Young Rider of the Year from British Showjumping and Horse & Hound. Combining sporting results, teaching skills, and ambition, Oliver’s trajectory promises a lasting place in the senior national team.
