Jorge Matte Capdevila, a Chilean rider, has recorded more than 720 international starts since 2010, with one career victory.
Coming from an influential family, Jorge took a seven-year break from the sport to dedicate himself to the family business before returning with determination to the international circuit.
In 2023, he represented Chile at the Pan American Games in Santiago, finishing 18th individually and 7th with the team. Still active in competition, in early August 2025 he placed 6th in a 1.50 m class at CSI4* Valkenswaard with Equine America It’s Me Des Saules, and also contested the CSI4* 1.55 m Grand Prix with Chicago Hd, finishing 27th.
