Giacomo began his riding career at the age of 9 and has been competing internationally since 2006. As a young rider, he won several Nations Cups and 3 CSIOYR Grand Prix. He has also competed in numerous Nations Cups in the senior class, winning at the CSIO3 in Drammen.
