Gerrit Nieberg is a rider with a strong record and steady progression on the international stage. A member of Team Fuchs, he has accumulated over 2,400 starts since 2010, including 71 victories.
His most notable achievement came with his victory in the Grand Prix CSIO5* of Aachen in 2022 aboard Ben 431*, a performance that drew widespread attention. He also excelled at the CSI5*-W in London the same year with the same horse.
On the World Cup circuit, he has distinguished himself with wins in Leipzig (1st place, 2022) and Helsinki (2nd place, 2022), earning a qualification for the World Cup Final. At the 2023 European Championships in Milan, he contributed to Germany’s 4th-place team finish while placing 67th individually.
Hailing from a prestigious equestrian family — his father Lars Nieberg is a double Olympic gold medalist — Gerrit has been training at Gut Berl since 2016, a facility managed by his father.
