Filippo Bassan is an Italian from Padua. He runs his own stables and is affiliated with Centro Ippico Le Praterie. In 2024, he represented Italy at the Morocco Royal Tour.
He also competed internationally, finishing 11th at the CSI3* Grand Prix in Geesteren with his mare Cerruti de Kreisker . In February 2024, he secured a 7th place at the CSI3* Grand Prix in Valencia.
In April 2025, he won the 1.45m Grand Prix at the A5* competition at Scuderia La Caccia.
Bassan is also dedicated to developing young horses, emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships from the start for success in show jumping.
