Cathal Daniels is an Irish eventing rider who first made his mark at the 2012 Pony European Championships, winning both individual and team gold. He went on to collect numerous youth titles, including team gold in 2013, individual silver in 2014, and team bronze at the 2015 Young Rider Europeans.

He has since become a key member of the Irish senior team, securing team silver at the 2018 World Equestrian Games and claiming individual bronze at the 2019 European Championships with Rioghan Rua — Ireland’s first senior individual podium since 1995.

Riding horses such as Rioghan Rua, Barrichello, and Shannondale Micah, Cathal has accumulated over 300 international starts and around twenty victories since 2010, highlighted by a CCI4*-S win at Kilguilkey in 2019.
